Secondgear is an online marketplace platform that enables users to buy and sell outdoor gear, campervan equipment, and adventure vehicles. We provide a platform for users to connect but are not directly involved in the transactions between buyers and sellers.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this service

3.2 Listing Requirements

  • All listings must be accurate and truthful
  • You must own or have the right to sell the items you list

4. Platform Responsibilities

Secondgear acts as a facilitator between buyers and sellers. We:

  • Provide the platform for listings and communication
  • Do not handle payments or shipping
  • Are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed
  • Reserve the right to remove listings that violate our terms

5. Contact and Transactions

All transactions are conducted directly between buyers and sellers. Secondgear provides contact facilitation but is not involved in:

  • Payment processing
  • Shipping arrangements
  • Dispute resolution
  • Quality assurance

6. Fees

Currently, Secondgear is free to use. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with appropriate notice to users.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our service:

In no event shall Secondgear, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
