Data Deletion Instructions
You have the right to delete your Secondgear account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains how.
Delete your account via the app
If you have a Secondgear account, you can delete it directly from your account settings. This will permanently remove your profile, listings, and all personal data linked to your account.
- Sign in to your account at secondgear.uk/auth
- Go to Account settings
- Scroll to the “Danger zone” section at the bottom of the page
- Click “Delete account” and confirm when prompted
Deletion is immediate and permanent. This action cannot be undone.
Request deletion via email
If you are unable to access your account, or if you signed in via a third-party provider (such as Facebook or Google), you can request manual deletion by contacting us directly.
Send your request to:
support@secondgear.ukPlease include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm once deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile details
- All listings you have posted (gear and campervans)
- Saved listings and search preferences
- Any reviews or ratings linked to your account
Anonymised transaction or enquiry records may be retained for legal and fraud prevention purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
